Brevet Wheatbelt is a celebration of cycling, the wide open road, big sky and the unique places of the Western Australian Wheatbelt.

It is an ever growing collection of routes through golden fields, forgotten backroads, historic towns and pub stays.

Routes avoid major roads and are provided for most abilities, with options of less than 50 kilometres to over 200 kilometres per day.

All are accessible from Perth for a weekend, a week or however long.

What is Brevet?

A Brevet is a cycling event on a pre-designated route. Brevet riders are required to pass through control points to collect evidence to report completion of the Brevet route.

Brevet is unsupported and about independence, self-dependence and challenge.

All routes are self guided and supported, GPS files can be downloaded from Strava. Route notes are also provided. However, all routes are on public trails and open roads. The routes should be undertaken with proper preparation, precaution and common sense. If you choose to ride these routes, it is at your own risk.

See Routes for more information.
